They encourage self-expression. Below are places that boast of an inclusive attitude, cultural diversity and natural beauty.
Denmark made history by being the first country to recognise same-sex relationships in 1998. It may be the home for Lego and New Nordic cuisine, but it is also home to the world’s oldest open gay bar. Copenhagen has one of the most tolerant and open communities in Europe. The edgy fashion scene, cocktail bars and gay-friendly boutique accommodation make it the friendliest gay destination.
New Zealand has made inclusive and progressive effort towards the LGBT community. There are brilliant networks of gay-friendly homestays from the north to the south. Gay ski week has become one of the popular events in New Zealand.
